We are extremely strict and diligent in our practice of health maintenance and disease prevention. We do not bend on any of our policies and it is for this reason, we are respected by our local Veterinarians. If you do show up without proof for the vaccines ,we will have no choice but to deny entry into the facility and there will NOT be a refund.
WE WILL NOT CONFINE A DOG UNTIL THE PICK UP DATE.
To have a dog stay in crate/kennel for most of it's stay is not why we opened and is totally unnatural. A "kennel type" of environment is very frightening to a dog, especially since most have never experienced being confined. Dogs are pack animals and enjoy the pack mentality. Yes, there can and will at times be verbal disagreements that will occur, that is just natural, but if a dog takes this to the next level and attempts to injure another dog, your emergency contact will be expected to come and pick up your dog IMMEDIATELY.
Please have these arrangements in place before you board. You will be asked about this on your application and when the intake form is completed. Calling you on a cell phone when you are in Toronto for example, will not rectify the problem.
We take our role as canine caregivers seriously and will not put an entire pack in jeopardy of injury because one dog is acting like a bully.
